Google UCP Pilot Goes Live – Early Results & Issues

Google has begun a limited rollout of UCP-powered checkout for selected merchants. Shoppers can complete purchases from AI Overviews and related surfaces when the merchant is UCP-ready.

Early issues

Some pilot merchants reported confusion around feed configuration and where to enable UCP in the Google ecosystem. Setup steps were not always easy to find in the main documentation. We have updated our Google UCP guide to clarify how to enable UCP via Merchant Center and Content API.
